We didn't have anything big planned for JD's 94th birthday, but Shiva was insistent that it not pass without some sort of celebration. At the last minute, we called everyone who was close by and had a small party complete with cake (for everyone except JD) and ice cream (for JD).

John was really pleased because several friends that he hadn't seen for awhile were there.

Among the Sidewalk Astronomers that attended were President Bill Scott, Vice President Katy Haugland, Director Donna Smith, Tom White, Bob Nolan, bob Alborzian, Mike and Leslie Kendall, Maria Berbeo, Betty and Hiro Wakamatsu, Julie Dole, Jim Smith and Mike Sepulveda. Sevberal of the Vedanta Society turned out as well.
