The Romanian Society for Meteors and Astronomy
(SARM) celebrated ISAN 2010 in Targoviste, Romania with 3 activities:
1. A special edition of TV broadcast NOI si CERUL
(US and the SKY) at Columna TV dedicated to ISAN: history, John Dobson, Sidewalk Astronomers, ISAN 2010 (15.00-16.00 LT).
2. An astrophoto session and public observations on a hill near Targoviste city (the place where in the past SARM organized
the national astronomical camps Perseids), with nice view of the Sun, Moon, Venus, Pleiades, Orion and others (18.00-20.00
LT).
3. With our telescopes in the street, a public session of observations in the main city square, Piata Tricolorului.
Over 100 people observed Moon and Saturn by two telescopes (20.00-22.30 LT).
